Without action words are meaningless.

There will always be things to say regarding how to be successful. There will always be a new metaphor to concoct, or another quote to deconstruct. We can be ever creative in our attempts to explain the workings behind the process that is success.

Words are only words. They are powerful only because they have the capability to inspire action.

Without action words are meaningless.

Perhaps some words are just marketing jargon meant to remind you about a product subconsciously to increase the chances you’ll buy later, but even then the end result is an action: buy.

The ability to use words to inspire action has been a skill learned by every great leader in humanity’s past. It was by their ability to inspire action through their words that they were able to accomplish so much. By having words inspiring enough to effect the masses, they have changed the world.

In a 24/7 connected world, plugged into all of human intelligence: the internet, we all have the opportunity to use words to inspire action. One tweet, share, and post at a time we can spread our ideas, opinions, and words of wisdom to others.

The ability to use words to inspire action is not a talent you are born with, it is a skill to be mastered.

Only by constantly and consistently practicing did the leaders of our past learn to motivate the masses. Winston Churchill froze on stage during his first big chance to share his words with others. It wasn’t until years later that he became the leader we remember today.

If you desire to inspire action with your words, you must practice. You will succeed sometimes and you will fail sometimes, but it is only by taking action that you will learn. Learning from those who have come before you is nearly necessity, but sooner or later you must find your own voice to be inspiring.

With consistent learning and practicing with your words you will find your voice and inspire action.
