There are no doubts that certain applications of VR can be, will be, and are habit forming. The real question is which of these applications are destructive or might become destructive.

The same story can be said for the personal computer. PCs are wonderful tools to accomplish any number of tasks. PCs are also access points to an infinite amount of entertainment and distractions.

VR has the same access as PCs plus a multitude of experiences we have yet to imagine. Some experiences will be addictive, others will not. As with any medium that came before, it will be up to the designers and users of VR to govern how they spend their time.

The addictive nature of digital experiences can be used for constructive purposes. i.e. fitness tracking, educational engagement, etc.

This is a great list Christine. Thank you for sharing!
