Sooner or later you feel the pull
Its an inspiring feeling that likes to peak out from behind the clouds sometimes. Showing its face just long enough for you to get a glimpse, before fading away again, unforgotten.
Your future is a mysterious thing. Something we are encouraged to focus on but to not live in. It is only after we work towards a particular future long enough that we begin to truly feel its pull. Before then we must rely on guts and intuition whilst we stare into the abyss.
The reason I love learning so much is that learning helps us develop the tools required to traverse the abyss. It teaches us how to leverage the universe bit by bit until we are constantly being pulled in the direction of a future which we wish to create. While most people bounce through life until they fall into the flow of the systems that have been designed to catch them, a few of us traverse into the unknown.
At any given moment there are an infinite number of decisions you can make. Each one with the possibility to lead you down an entirely different life path. Most of these paths are mysteries to us, which makes the future exciting and at times frightening. If we are unsure of the world which we wish to create, then the world will sooner or later decide for us. By learning the tools to make decisions we lead ourselves towards the path we wish to create, and we slowly remove the fear.
Over time, by consistently putting effort towards our path, we erode the fear to a point of it having no power over us. It’s not to say that fear goes away, it is only to say that we know the sum of our path will be positive. We reach a point where we can, at times, clearly see our future in front of us. Those moments may not last long, but they grow stronger and stronger as we are pulled in.
Those moments help drive the already growing momentum that is your life path. It is also those moments in which over confidence can arise. Some people use the good feelings to feel a sense of satisfaction and initiate a time for rest. The creators use those moments to drive themselves further down their path.
Keep making those daily efforts, and sooner than later you will begin to feel the pull down your own path.
