I’ve seen twitch streamers with sub-ten thousand followers sponsored by CocaCola. My assumption is that soft drink companies have a long term strategy for the growth of eSports by sponsoring potential players across platforms.

It’s good to see the Dr. Pepper sponsorships. The more money pumping into eSports, the faster it will grow.

Though I do have my reservations with unhealthy soft drinks being pumped into an already sedentary gamer culture. Hopefully a healthier brand can make headwind in eSports.
