I expect virtual reality will take the virtual world economy to an entirely new level. With millions of people living out their lives inside VR games, making enough money virtually to support rent, food, and utilities.

Eve online and second life have proved this possible on a 2D screen. In an fully immersive world, many more will be tempted and able.
